New STEM Initiatives Announced

Hey, everyone.

I just read this article sent out by eSchool News and thought I should share it with you. It's about the first-ever White House Science Fair, and how President Obama used the occasion to announce several new programs designed to encourage and enhance science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. Joined by guests like Billy Nye "The Science Guy" and Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters, the President was also able to check out some incredible innovations in STEM disciplines, all of them created by students.
